  I know a few folks who call Stone Street Baptist Church their home. What a great church! So rich in history. I actually spoke there from the pulpit back in the '70s. The assistant pastor was Isreal Lewis III and he asked me to talk to the congregation.
  
  I felt like time washed over me when I was talking. All the giant Oaks along Government Street were whispering what they saw over hundreds of years. It was such a moving experience.
  
  This church has a special place in my heart. I'll not rate it anything but a 5.
